Alber Ruth Barnette – Founding Partner (Retired on Consulting Basis)
Alber Ruth Barnette earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Winthrop University. She began her career as a high school Business Education instructor and later advanced into school administration, where she honed her leadership and organizational skills.
Her interest in tax preparation started when she successfully completed her own return and realized she could extend that knowledge to help family and friends. What began as a personal endeavor has grown into a professional passion—Alber has been preparing tax returns for more than 35 years. Her experience spans a wide range of filings, including corporate (1120), S-corporation (1120S), partnership (1065), and individual (1040) returns, serving both individuals and businesses with accuracy and care.
Outside of her professional work, Alber enjoys traveling, cultivating her garden, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Sabrina Heyward, CPA – Co-Owner
Sabrina Heyward earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Limestone College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and her Master of Science in Accounting from DeVry University. Sabrina is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. She is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
With more than eight years of experience, she has supported small businesses and mid-market clients across diverse industries, including healthcare, nonprofit organizations, consumer services, and private education.
Beyond her professional work, Sabrina enjoys traveling, gardening, and quiet walks, finding balance and inspiration outside of her career.
